What we have been up to?

Well its been kinda crazy these past few weeks. Collin was suppose to leave for his training just last Sunday but what we thought was a sprained ankle turned out to be a broken ankle. Talk about pain tolerance! We thought Collin sprained his ankle a few weeks ago but it wasnt getting any better so when he went to see the doctors, we found out he had been limping on a broken ankle! So his shipdate date has been postponed and we are just waiting for the National Guard to tell us when he does leave. It will be at least a month from now so Im excited we get more time together before he takes off! I also had a small scare too. I had a ruptured ovarain cyst occur the beginning of last week. I ended up going to the hospital and they reccomended a catscan to check for apendicits but that was ruled out when my vitals went up the next day. Collin was a real sport and took some time off work to stay home and keep me company while I had to stay trapped in bed for a week!
Something else! I chopped off my hair! I finally broke down and went for it! We went to go get Collins hair cut for drill and I ended up coming out with a more volumious style! Collin was sitting right next to me when they started cutting my hair and when they finished it was right below my shoulders but to my suprise, Collin asked if we could go shorter! I was kinda nervous since I havent had my hair so short since highschool but I love my new look!
I also got called to serve as the Nursey teacher at church last week and Sunday was my first day on the job. I'll be honest, I was kinda nervous.... about 2 years ago I taught the sunbeams and had eight 3 yr old boys. It was nothing less than chaotic! But I only am over one girl and two boys this time. Laura, shes the oldest I can already tell shes the one that runs the show but super sweet. Then there is Tamalge and Calvin. Tamalge is also 2yrs and Calvin just turned 18months. The boys are so easy going and way cute! The church didnt give Collin a calling since he was suppose to gone by now but it looks like we are going to tag team it until he leaves! It will be our new form of birth control!
Thats it! We did get some new goldfish to stimulate our little apartment since there are no cats allowed in the apartment. We also took some family pictures of just the two of us a couple weeks ago. We are still waiting for them but we got a glance at some of them, way cute! I'll post some once we get them!

Love your new calling. I actually think I would love a calling like that.
I am also so happy that you and Collin are both ok from your medical drama. I am also happy for the two of you that you get some more time together.
