I neglected to write and post this back in March but will save it under the month of March anyway.
The envelope: I included some chopsticks, the movie Rush Hour and some money for some Chinese takeout! Yum!
The plan: Grab some Chinese takeout, some fortune cookies and watch Rush Hour in the living room.
The Date: We started getting ready to go get some takeout but since the times have changed and because we are quite up north, it doesn't get dark till 9 here in Idaho (crazy!). So we both didn't feel like watching a eating and watching a movie while it was so light out. So we decided to put on something nice and just go eat out at our favorite Chinese place instead of bringing it back home. We both got the sweet and sour chicken with fried rice and made fun of the silly fortunes often found in fortune cookies which I intended to take a picture of but of course forgot. I always thought a genius fortune inside a cookie would simply be "take luck" from Brian Regan comedy sketch. We drove back home, put on our jammies while we snuggled up and watched Rush Hour, a favorite and one we haven't seen in a while!
It was a fun, simple and cheap date!
