So we have a new apartment now! Its right in the middle of town which is gonna be great when Collin starts school again. We are so close to everything! This past week I have been transferring all of our belongings into our new place. Since we were staying with his parents, and had just the room, we had to put a bunch of stuff in storage. So when I went in and unpacked everything, it was exciting to know that I can decorate with all this stuff I forgot we even had! I cant technically stay there until April 1st, since I didnt want to pay 2 extra weeks of rent but it gives me time to get everything ready before Collin comes home. So to keep me busy, I've been working on putting together some more "home furnishings" and looking for bargains around town.
I was packing some stuff this morning and when I came back out to the car to load some more stuff, I found kitty in the back! I guess he wants to come with us to our new place!
I went to the Martha Stewart website and found these free templates that I printed off and laminated and just stuck some magnents to the back. Just baking measurements and candy temps. I thought they were cute.
These were so easy to make! I got the frames on clearance at the local craft store here, got some matte paper and printed "his & hers" on them and put them inside the frames. I saw some at Bed, Bath, and Beyond, but they were much bigger and $30 each. I thought I could just make them myself and booyah, saved $20! I hung them up in the bathroom above the towel rack at our place. I would show you the whole bathroom but I want the apartment to be a suprise for Collin when he comes back since he hasnt seen it all decorated.
Just another something I found. I bought the little tea candles holders for $2 each and then just rubbed on some vinyl lettering. Again, cute and cheap!
Ok, I love bargain shopping! I've been looking for some new dining table sets and I was told that Kmart actually has some good ones that are currently on sale. I never go to Kmart since Walmart usually has everything I need. So I decided to venture out to Kmart since I didn't like the tables at Walmart. While I was there, I found these Martha Stewart serving dishes on clearance...$6! Plus, I saw these dish sets for only $16 for a set of 4 so I got two. I thought they were too cute... and cheap so pass up. Im excited to have a new place to call home! Only 3 more weeks until Collin joins up with me!

I'm so jealous that you get your husband back so soon:)But you have been without him longer too. That's awesome that you found a place to move into. Richard graduates from basic this thursday I cant wait for AIT so he can have more phone priviledges Man I miss him.
