Just an update

So I'm a little disapointed but even more excited. That cute little white house we were looking into, just sold. Someone else beat us to the punch which is ok because I knew they probably would considering we werent going to start the loan process until Collin got home in April. BUT...I did find a nice, modest apartment for the two of us when he gets back. Its right there in town, right behind the public library, which is nice since we are close to everything in town now, really, everything is in walking distance now. Its real quiet and safe. After 10pm each night, you need a key to get into the actual building, not like I have really much to worry about here in little Rexburg. Im really excited about moving in(next week) and decorating the place and getting it all nice and ready for Collin to come home. I bought him a huge bean bag chair as a welcome home gift. I am planning on turning the second bedroom into a military office for him, where he can work on his military stuff and put up his plaque and medals he recieved from basic training. Im really excited about starting that!
Collin is still doing well there at advanced training in Fort Sill, OK. He is learning more about his MOS, specific job really, if he were to get deployed later down the road. He works with computers and navigation systems and radios in to the people who are out behind the lines and tells them where their target is. He loves the free time he gets there but says the classes are pretty boring. He says its alot like school, in class ALL day. He graduates from Advanced Training on April 6th and should be on his way home either that day or the day after...hopefully. Once he gets back home, normal life again! He is enrolled in the College First program which guarentees him 2 full years of college before deployment, IF he gets deployed. Besides that, hes home for good this time! He still has drill once a month and leadership training two weeks a year but that all takes place right here in Rexburg. Its been hard without him and has made me realize how much he means to me and how little things, like his dirty socks on the floor, or the wet bath towel on the bed, dont even matter. Almost time for him to come home!!!

Sad to hear about the house but glad to hear that you found a cute appartment that you will both enjoy and I love that you are turning the second room into a military office. Yeah all the hard work is about to be over and you will just get to have the benefits of it all now! Yeah!
