My birthday boy

So on Sunday, we went over to Collin's moms house and had dinner and had some cake in honor of Collins 24th birthday (which was really Monday). The morning of, I woke up extra early and made Collin some breakfast including his favorites... a strawberry and blueberry smoothie, toaster strudels, eggs and of course some fruit to try and balance all that goodness out (I stuck to eggs and leftover smoothie). Little beknownst to me, his first class was canceled so we went straight back to bed afterwards.
Later that day, after he finished all his classes and right before we took off to celebrate, he came home to some presents! I got him a bigger assualt backpack that hes been asking for, a cover for his iphone and then a Zombie Survival Guide. lol. Collin loves zombie movies(edited, mind you) and always goes over our escape plan if zombies were to rise from the dead and take over. So I found this book and thought it would be perfect for him. He also recieved some birthday money from his mom and my parents which is always a great gift for a guy who tells his wife he doesnt care what he gets for his birthday!

Already perfecting his zombie survival skills...Collin says when hes finished reading it, he's going to put it in his 72 hr kit.
I didnt take pictures but afterwards we met up with all of our friends in I.F. and the guys played an extra long game of phaser tag and then we all went to Johnny Carino's for dinner. It was so much fun and we were so glad that everyone was able to make it! We had 12 adults, 4 kids and one waiter. It was awesome.
After dinner, everyone headed home but to top off the night, Collin and I shared a very delicious cupcake from the CocoaBean before turning in. Collin is not much of a cake fan but I insisted that a birthday is not complete without some candles.

Collin reports that is was one of the best birthdays he had.

and the remnants of a very successful birthday...

Happy Birthday sweetheart!
