My mission

Something has been on my mind and Im surprised at how odd its been making me feel.  A lot of things have happened lately bringing back some things from the past but a few things have put my mind at ease that has happened the last few weeks or so. I'll share just one. I lived in Arizona for about a year awhile back, and after I came back home my dad, sensing I needed a little encouragement and direction, asked what I thought about a mission. He said that I would make an amazing missionary and I thought to myself, you're right, I would make a great missionary. I could go to Temple Square or even to another country. I have never ever in my life until that point ever considered going on a mission. I really thought about it and prayed a lot about it and didn't really get the clear cut answer I was looking for. I thought about it some more and even went and talked to my bishop about it and how the process works to see if it would help. I was doing my part and hoping the Lord would guide me in the right direction. Well, just four months after I left Arizona, I met Collin up in Idaho. Not interested in the slightest, dating in general that is. Collin was always the cute guy in the class. Anywho almost 4 yrs later we will be celebrating our 3rd yr anniversary next week.

Well, two sister missionaries came into work today and just due to natural small talk and curiosity I asked them where they were from and how long have they been out in the field. They ask if I have served a mission...

 "No, but I was thinking about serving a mission and getting ready to start the process of it, but then I met the love of my life."

"Well, that was your mission" the Sister from Tonga replies

She was right.
