Lately it's slowly getting warmer up here and both me and Collin have been aching to go camping. We didnt have enough time to go since we both had work but we thought maybe having a bonfire together would get us pumped for a future camping trip. Well that bonfire turned into smores, which lead to tin foil dinners which lead to inviting my friend and old roomie Hannah from the dorm days with her husband to join us! It was so much fun! We drove a ways past all the potato fields into this really pretty forested area. There was still a bunch of snow of there and unfortunatly we got stuck. We decided to set up camp right where we were and start our dinners while we waited for a friend to come help us out (all we had was our tiny honda civic with no 4wheel drive) and someone with a big truck actually was passing by and pulled us out so it all worked out. All the dinners turned out perfectly. The smores of course were great and Hannah and Brent brought some starburst to roast as well which was fun to try. We played a couple rounds of 'Would You Rather' and relaxed around the fire. It was a great start to what I think will be an awesome summer!
Yes, I am roasting my sock. All the snow seeped through my boots and left my feet FREEZING! Im sure the pioneers were rolling there eyes.
