Excercise VS. Food

So something kinda exciting, drum roll please... I'm doing personal training and this time I'M the trainer! My apartment manager's neice approached with a weight lost goal and now we're working out together 5x a week! Not only is this a goal Ive been working towards but also a small but very needed extra income for us! Woohoo! I am so excited to finally start doing this and along that same line, I started teaching my indoor cycling class again for the new semester up at BYUI which I hope will help me kickstart my excercising again since I took a small break between semesters.

Hopefully between personal training, my own personal exercise, and teaching cycling hopefully I will be expending enough calories for some of these new recipes Ive been finding with successful approval ratings from the Mr.

Just one of the many new recipes I've added to my recipe box (made this for the second time in the past two weeks....very yum)
MMMmmm. I also plucked the pepper from our garden and used it one of the recipes, I felt like a true gardener.
We are also gearing up for the Fall as tomorrow is the first day of Autumn. I love fall but its just like the summers here... too short. Tomorrow I have the day off and I think Im going to work on one of these:
Hershey Kiss's and Nilla acorns and some cream cheese swirled pumpkin bread

and last but not least I finally finished the floor mirror that I picked up from DI. I took it apart, painted it and tried putting it back together but failed. It was already pretty unstable but it just wouldnt work so it stayed in our guest room for a month or so in pieces until I finally dragged it back out and spent some more time on it.

and voila!

I wish I could find the pictures before I took it apart and painted it but no such luck. Just imagine a very old and unattractive faded and stractched up wood color. Hopefully the reflection will be someone whose getting slimmer from some extra excerise and not wider from some extra recipes! (and yes, I did strategically move that mirror so you wouldn't see the pile of laundry on the floor I have yet to do)

That pumpkin bread looks amazing! I'm gonna have to try it sometime soon.
