Wall O Art

I feel like the leaves are falling too fast...

I was walking home from work when I took this picture. So many leaves! It was beautiful but then it made me think about the not so far away winter season. On the other hand, considering its the end of October, its really not that cold yet. It did snow for a couple days earlier in the month but soon disappeared. I was very thankful.

This month I've been working on creating my "wall gallery". I found the inspiration on Pinterest. Look at all those awesome colors?!

So I took down all my boring black picture frames, pulled out some old ones that I've had for years and painted some of them! Obviously its nowhere near that top picture, but it definitely looks better than it did!

My sweet cousin Megan made these state pictures for me after I showed her something identical on etsy (shes that good!) I thought it would be appropriate  to represent where Collin and I are from :)  For some reason though, the colors are a bit off in the pictures... the California state is more turquoise and the frame is more purple but I love them!

I'm trying to find more things to put up on our wall besides pictures of us. It needs some variety. I am in the midst of putting together a letter collage of our last name and maybe some more cool map pictures like the in the inspiration photo? Or maybe this map picture from Urban Outfitters? If you have any ideas that could be added to my wall, let me know. In the meantime, enjoy the rest of the Fall season!
