We had a lovely Valentines Day. The night before, I set up the table, put the plate settings out and got everything ready so when I got home from work we could sit down, eat and enjoy a quiet evening at home. Collin came by work with some beautiful roses and later for dinner we had pizza, salad and sparkling cider to celebrate! Later we pulled the mattress out into the livingroom (like we do every now and then) and watched a movie. Perfect.
Because both of our birthdays are just right around the corner in March along with our anniversary in May, we go small when it comes to gifts on Valentines. So Collin got me the flowers, I got him some candy that I wrapped up a little differently and a set of cards with 52 reasons why I love him. Yes, I got all of this off Pinterest... but Collin doesn't know that :)
The day before we also made some of these little numbers so we could pass some of them out. Rice krispie kisses that we made using funnels and tin foil. I thought they turned out pretty good!
