Lets go on a date: February

The date envelope: 

 The plan: This month the plan is to spend a night in "Thailand" for an exotic spa getaway!  Whether it be a massage, bubble bath, a good foot soak, or facial masks . . . the point is to just do something to relax and pamper ourselves. The location was a surprise for Collin!

The date: I knew since Valentines Day was going to be during the week this year and since I am now working full time, I wanted do something extra special and have one of the bigger dates this month. I knew I wanted to do a spa night but didnt know where.  I looked into the Black Swann Inn with the themed suites since we have stayed there before but is over an hour away. While searching I found a hotel with themed suites in Idaho falls just 30 min away from Rexburg!  I reserved the "Thailand" room based on the cool pics I saw online and all the neat extras. It had an awesome huge jet tub, an aromatherapy steam shower, a screen projector, AND when we got there, there was sparkling cider and two cheesecakes waiting for us! We first enjoyed a bubble bath before going out to dinner and came back to enjoy the dessert waiting for us in the fridge!

With the jacuzzi tub, the steam shower and our face masks we brought, not to mention I created my own "asian spa" music station on Pandora on my iphone, it really felt like we were in some exotic spa!

Maybe themed suites are too hokey for you but I thought this was awesome!

There was this little nook with the table and umbrella surrounded by a little pond where we ate our cheesecake and sparkling cider!

To top everything else off, we woke up the next morning to find this at our door!

Its always fun to get away every now and then...forget about work, school and all the other stresses in life and just relax together!
