MARRIED!

Well, we are finally married. 13 months of courtship is way too long but Im glad we finally made it! We got married this past weekend on Friday May 30th here in Rexburg, Idaho at the LDS Rexburg Temple. It was beautiful! The whole week of the wedding the weather has been really stormy and rainy and even snowed a couple days beforehand so we were really nervous the weather wouldnt turn out but in our favor, it did! I woke up that morning and the first thing I did was run to the window and see if it was raining or not. There was some gray clouds but beautiful bright blue sky in the background and it stayed that way until we were all done with our pictures! Thank goodness we did not get rained on! Our friends Natalie and David drove from Utah to be our photographers and WOW! The pictures look amazing! They made us a slideshow of pictures they took at the temple and got us a beautiful framed picture of the two of us. It was wonderful. Not to mentioned I havent seen my good friend for around a year, so it was good to meet up with them again.

We had a reception later on that day at Collins parents house which turned out to be lovely. It rained in between pictures at the temple and the reception but stopped just as guests started to show up. We even got a rainbow that day! I picked green and pink pastel colors and a bight green and pink cupcake tier along with other yummy treats for our dessert buffet. We had our good friend Dev videotape the reception and got a lot of good footage! Ricky, one of our friends that I grew up wih in highschool hosted the reception and did an excellent job at making sure everything flowed together. My sister Holly caught the flower bouquet (I tossed it in her direction) and Collins best friend, John caught the garter.

We handpicked all the music including Belle and Sebastion, Coldplay, Mates of State, Colbie Calliat and some good ole Frank Sinatra. It was wonderful. We are planning on heading down to Orange County area in California for a small open house at my parents home this weekend for those who could not make it to the reception. We are so excited to start our new life together! We have our apartment which is about 5 mintues away from BYU-I and is already set up with all our good stuff we got for our apartment.
Thankyou everyone who helped out and we'll see you soon! I will put on some wedding pictures once we get some!
