3 Month update

We just celebrated our 3 months on August 30th! I know sounds kind of petty but we like to go out and celebrate anyways. This time we went to a really nice Italian resturant in Idaho Falls called Johnny Carinos, kinda like Olive Garden but way better and a more relaxed atmosphere. Its our absolute favorite and plus we got 50% off our entire bill because Collin was wearing his uniform! Yummy and cheap!
So within the past three months since being married...

Collin has broken his ankle and postponed his training date for the National Guard
Chopped my hair off.
Developed a liking for recipe hunting. Ive never been much into cooking I think because I really havent found some good recipes that I enjoyed making. Ive added about 30 new recipes that are really easy and tasty. I recently found a really good russian recipe for chicken plov and borscht! Very delicious to the taste!

Rediscovered my love for journeling.
Toyed with the idea of having a baby...but not yet.
Got my own military ID.
Hired a photographer to have family pictures taken of just the two of us.
Collin received his Pharmecy Technicians License.
Got a little black kitten.
Went camping at the lake.
Bought a new computer.
Went to the hospital for a ruptured ovarian cyst.
Watched the 4th season of "The Office".
Got a new job.
Spent over $100 at Bed, Bath, and Beyond to decorate our new apartment.
Both of us have new callings in the ward... Nursery Teacher and Gospel Essentials Teacher.
New stake center to go to which is right across the street from our apartment complex.
Collins promotion to Private 1st class in the Idaho National Guard.
Flight in a Black Hawk helicopter.
Added to my Russian vocabulary and started studying the Ukrainin Language, courtesy of Collin Hanson
Trip to California to visit family.
Became an uncle and aunt.
Got new books for us to read: Anything Considered by Peter Mayle, The Wedding Dress by Virginia Ellis, Where the Heart is by Billie Letts, The Kite Runner by Khaled Hosseini, The Five Love Languages by Gary Chapman, Massacre at Mountain Meadows, Faith in the Service by Chad Hawkins. Obvouisly some are just for me and Collin really likes anything church related.

More recently... weve postponed our trip to Ukraine next year, but for very good reason... were getting a new townhouse! Weve talked to the bank and everything is just about set! We found this new development near the new Rexburg temple that hasnt even been built yet with an amazing price! Since it hasnt been built yet, we get to decide everything that goes inside: paint, carpet, tile, trim and finishings! We are so stoked! It will be done just about the time Collin will be coming home in April.
We will also be going on a cruise, not sure where yet, after Collin gets home from Basic.

Well thats about it. We have alot of fun upcoming things for next year, most of which when Collin comes back home. Things will probably be a little quite for awhile when hes gone and I'll be spending some time in California. We are definitly enjoying life here in Idaho. We have learned a ton more about each other in the past three months and although we had to make some adjustments, I fall harder in love every single day.
