Just this past Friday, Collin was the best husband ever and just for fun, suprised me by making a reservation at the AmericaInn. Its just right here in Rexburg but they have a whole bunch of different theme room suites. They are all somewhat tacky(some more than others) but thats the idea right? Maybe not your cup of tea but I'm a real sucker for that kinda stuff, husbands know best! We got the Venetian Sunset suite
...oolala! I thought we were going to just go out with friends that night but Collin ended up blindfolding me and taking me up to the room! It was really sweet. There was rose petals all over the room and it had a super huge jetted hot tub w/ statue water fountians along with some good ole mood lighting. It was a great way to relax and spend the weekend! Go check out some of the rooms they have! The space one is the tackiest!

Wow what an awesome husband! That place looks like soooooooo much fun! I'm going to see if there are any places like that around here!
Ok so your husband IS THE BEST!!! I have ALWAYS wanted to go to one of those themed room places, how cool is that place you went! What an amazing guy, I would have melted too! So glad to see you got a big winner!!! He is so fantastic to you! LOVE YA GIRL, and MISS YOU!!!
Hey! I'm glad you like the head board. It's actually so easy and so cheap! We actually have our window treatments this same way. You get cheap wood. We just got cheap plywood for like $8 and cut it in three pieces. Then go to a fabric store and pick up badding and whatever kind of fabric you want. Use a stable gun to stable the badding and then stable the fabric. You want to make sure it's tight and stabled from behind. And that's it! It's super easy and actually pretty comfortable to lean up against. You can put however much badding you want. I hope that helps! Let me know if you need anything else! Also...if you put a lighter color at the top then it makes your walls look taller instead of putting a dark color at the top.
Your romantic getaway looks so awesome! i'll have to show keven your blog! :) there were those rooms in logan when we lived in utah.
