Come home

Ok, I'll be honest. I love my family and Im so happy that I can come down to CA and spend time with them during the holidays while Collin is gone, but I think staying down here for as long as I am(till the 18th) was a bad idea. Im not working, therefore nothing for me to fill my day with OR makin the dough! So I dont have the money to go on a shopping spree everytime I get bored. So because I am a little bored, I can feel myself getting more and more frusterated with the fact of being seperated for so long from my husband. That may sound like Im mad at him for this current situation but by all means Im not, Im just a little irked by the whole situation and knowing that he wants to come home too. Ugh. There is an upside to this post though. I think about this everytime I get a little lonely so I'm gonna share it with you...so there is a radio station that I will listen to up in rexburg where we live every now and then when I forget to grab my ipod for the car. One one particular morning during the week they do a show called The Doghouse. What happens is the show asks three people who are in the "doghouse" to call in and explain why they are in the doghouse and with who. If you're not sure what being in the dog house means, usually you're in the doghouse because you have "wronged" someone else by doing something stupid or something you just werent suppose to do, usually its your significant other your in the doghouse with. Anyways the first three people to call get to tell their doghouse stories and then three more people call in to vote on who had the best story. Whoever wins gets two free night at a certian hotel nearby with those hoky theme room suites (i like them though!) and a free dinner for two. So I thought to myself, that would be nice to have that when Collin comes home, we will need some much needed time together but why pay and I could possibly get it for free? So two days after I get to CA, I set my alarm extra early, go the the stations online website to listen to it live. I call in for the doghouse show and I get in! I got to tell my story on air as to why im in the doghouse(maybe if you ask, i'll tell you what happend) and then wait for the others to tell their stories. The 3 judges call in and vote and I WON! I got 2 out of the three votes and have two free nights and a dinner waiting for Collin and I when we both get back to Idaho. I cant wait till he comes home!!!
