Today I started off with teaching my indoor cycling class on campus. I LOVE this class! I have really grown to love cycling. I rememeber when I first started I was scared out of my mind but it seems that every block the class gets better and better. The class I have now is awesome. They are so enthusiastic and they work hard. Before my half marathon that I ran last Saturday I watched this documentary about 3 guys who run across the Sahara Desert so thats what we did today. We rode through the Sahara Desert to the Red Sea. They loved it!
I feel with Collin being gone for this long I learn things about myself, for example, I am messier than I thought. I thought that in our relationship Collin was the messy one but looking around my apartment right now, I'm having second thoughts. Also, I am having problems grocery shopping for myself lol. I go to the grocery store and have no clue what to buy. I feel like I don't want to spend money on the good meals that I would normally make for Collin and myself. I feel like I'm single again living with 4 other roommates trying to decide what I should buy for myself. The past week I've been munching on cereal, crackers, bread, and bagels and maybe some soup for dinner. Not very nutritious. I do want to make a list of things I want to make and try out when Collin comes home along with some new bread recipes! If any of you have any recipes that your lovin right now, let me know!
Collin is out in the field now which means they don't get as much reception and they are sleeping in cots underneath the stars which I know he is loving (maybe not the cot part) so the anticipation for him to come is increasing since I don't get to talk to him as much now. I am proud of him though to give up x-amount of time away from home, good food (they get nasty MREs) and everyday comforts like showers (and having your wife do your laundry for you hehe). So I plan on looking my best and having a nice warm meal waiting for him when he walks through that door! Here's a picture from a video he posted on facebook of them from target pratice. He melts my heart :)

i love indoor cycling classes! i've always thought it may be fun to lead an indoor cycling class! and isn't it interesting the things we learn about ourselves when the people we are closest too are absent for a while? i think it's a good opportunity to really focus on yourself. keep on holding strong lady!
