Not about the money

So I have an old box that I kept a lot of pictures and things when we were dating and when we first got married. I recently went through it and spent some time going through some old pictures and reading notes Collin left for me. Before and when we first started dating we worked directly across the street from each other, so Collin would sometimes spot my car and leave notes for me which I always enjoyed finding when I got off work. Among some of the things I kept, I found a small piece of paper that I believe I jotted down real quick right after we got married. I wrote about each of these events in my journal but because I never wrote about it on the day it actually happened, the dates were kinda off and unknown so I think that's why I jotted it down so I would have the correct timeline if you will. I tried taking a picture of it but because its kinda small, it came out blurry so here it is...

Thursday May 3 2007 - Collin asks me out while we are at a Russian Social dinner for our Russian 101 class. He was really nervous but I found it cute.

Friday May 4 2007- Our first date. Went to the movies and met up with his cousin and his girlfriend. Got locked out of his car so we walked across the street and got ice cream while we waited for the locksmith. I liked that he laughed it off and didn't get all embarrassed about it.

Monday May 7 2007- Collin asks me out AGAIN that day in class (we had a class M-F with each other). Went on our second date that night to dinner at Winger's here in town. After dinner we ordered an oreo dessert pie. During the conversation I excused myself and went to the bathroom and discovered I had oreo in my teeth (for who knows how long). I came back and said that the next time I have a blob of oreo in my teeth, he could tell me. He sheepishly smiles.
Wednesday May 23 2007- Our first kiss after we slide down a giant inflatable slide. yup. I wouldn't have had it any other way.

Friday June 22 2007 - We build a fort inside his basement together. Collin tells me he loves me.
October 4 2007- Collin proposes while we are in Salt Lake City after his mission reunion and during General Conference weekend.

May 30 2008 - We are married and sealed in the Rexburg Idaho Temple for time and all eternity.

So after finding this, don't ask me why, but I got online and went to our bank account and started looking up old transactions to see if I could find the transactions for these dates (probably to verify that these dates were infact correct).  I went all the way back to 2007 before I was added to his account when we got married and indeed, there they were on the date I had written down. I won't specify how much he had in the bank account when he started taking me out on these dates but it was somewhat endearing knowing he had so little money in his account like most returned missionaries (he came home a month before we started dating) yet was still willing to try and "woo" me. I'm glad he did :)
